Our New Pet

When we got back from my sister's house, THIS was in our house. I was sitting in my chair feeding Archie, when Mason pointed to the ceiling and said, "Mama, a bee!" It was right by my head! And, it is a lot bigger than it looks.

Last weekend we went to visit my sister in Monterey. We took a trip to the beach even though it was freezing! Mason didn't mind that it was cold. He was in the water the whole time and did not want to get out!

In the early morning hours of the 4th of July, our little 8 lb. 9 oz bundle of joy entered the world.

Archer David ("Archie")

His favorite thing to do. When he's not sleeping he is firmly attached to his mama. This boy loves to eat!

Mason meets his new brother for the first time. He is actually turning out to be a really good big brother so far!

A Day at the Lake

While we were impatiently awaiting Archie's arrival, we decided to do some fun things in the area with my sister Cindy and her family. One of the coolest outings was a trip to the lake. We went to the far side away from the city, and did not see a single other person the whole day! The water felt so good since it was about 100 degrees outside. Mason loves the water, and always wants his "Dada" to go out further with him. We played in the water for a few hours, it was a great day!

Aquatic Park

This is a cool park we go to that is right down the street from my midwife appointments. Mason of course loves the little river to play in.

Ranch Life

Max's family owns a ranch in Northern California. We had the great pleasure of staying there for a few weeks while we were looking for a place of our own. Max had a lot of fun chopping wood, tending the garden, and helping out around the farm.

Mason is quite the little River Rat. Any body of water that he comes to, he will jump right in. This little creek is on their property and Mason loves going there and throwing rocks and sticks into it.
