8 Weeks Old

Here is Archie on his 8 week birthday. He holds his head up pretty well already, so we got out the Bumbo seat and he loves it! It makes him feel like he is part of the action. He loves any kind of attention from Mason and he will just stare until Mason notices. He loves to stand up (with some assistance, of course) and be walked around by us. He is "talking" and laughing a lot and we love seeing his little personality come out.

We received some complaints recently that we never post family pictures on here, so here you go. This is our one and only family picture. We will work on getting some more. This was taken about three weeks ago at the family ranch.

The County Fair

For my birthday we went to the fair. When we first got there I won tickets for rides from the local radio station. Since we couldn't ride on the rides with the kids, we sold them and played the carnival games and got food and ice cream! We all had a really fun time and it turned out to be a great birthday!

My 26th Birthday!

I turned 26 yesterday! We started the day with a trip to the library for story time. Then we hit up some thrift shops (my favorite!). After that, we came home and Max and Mason made me a birthday cake. Then, we went to the fair (which I will do a separate post for).

We only had 32 from Max's birthday and a 2 from Mason's birthday, so Max was clever. Get it?

Mason's First Bike

We found this sweet bike at a yard sale last Saturday. It's a little early for him, but we couldn't pass it up for $5! He loves it, even if he doesn't know how to peddle yet!

One Month Old

I know I just did a post a couple of days ago, but I got some good pictures today on his official one month birthday. He did a couple of amazing (in my opinion) things today. First, I laid him down on a blanket on the floor and left the room for a minute. When I came back, he had scooted almost all the way off of it. This kid is strong! Then, we were all dancing around and whenever Mason would laugh, Archie would, too!

4 Weeks Old

I can't believe Archer is 4 weeks old already! I guess time flies when you are sleep deprived! He is getting so big! He has outgrown all of his newborn outfits and is now in size 3 months. It's no wonder he is getting so big, all he does is eat!


He is starting to smile at us all the time. This is the only one I could get a picture of!

Mason has adjusted really well to having a baby in the house. He gives him kisses all day, and when Archie is sleeping, Mason will ask where he is.

I set Archie down for a minute and he fell right to sleep. I guess he likes my chair!

Our New Pet

When we got back from my sister's house, THIS was in our house. I was sitting in my chair feeding Archie, when Mason pointed to the ceiling and said, "Mama, a bee!" It was right by my head! And, it is a lot bigger than it looks.

The Beach in Santa Cruz

Last weekend we went to visit my sister in Monterey. We took a trip to the beach even though it was freezing! Mason didn't mind that it was cold. He was in the water the whole time and did not want to get out!
