Christmas!

Here are the boys on Christmas morning. Mason was so excited to finally open his presents! It was so hard for him to wait!

The "big one." Mason is obsessed with trains lately, so we got him a train table. After Max set it all up, Mason played with it for 7 straight hours. He wouldn't even take a break to eat, we had to bring his food over to him and shovel it in his mouth! I think it was a hit!

5 Months Old!

Archer is now 5 months old! It is hard to believe that he is that old already, but it's true. Things he learned to do this month: crawl (scoot) across the floor, eat solid food, play with Mason's trucks. Mason never struck me as the selfish type, but all of a sudden, if Archie starts playing with one of his toys, he takes it away. We are working on teaching Mason to trade with Archie if wants something. Hopefully this is just a phase, but we'll see.

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving we went to The Ranch. It was a nice relaxing time hanging out and catching up with family.

We went to Disneyland the Monday before Thanksgiving. We had no idea it would be SO crowded! We still had a blast, even though most of the day was spent in line! Mason, of course, loved it and talks about Disneyland almost every day.

The Beach

We went to the beach while we were in Orange County. This is Mason's favorite thing to do! Here he is playing in the surf with Max.

Fairytale Town

While we were waiting for Max to get out of class so we could drive down to OC, I took Mason to Fairytale Town. This place was awesome! They had all sorts of slides and trains and playgrounds for Mason to play on. He loved it!

This was Mason's favorite. It was a little road for him to run on. The whole time he was running he was saying, "vroom, vroom!"

At first he was too scared to go down the slides (and I couldn't go with him because of Archie), but he saw some older kids doing it, so he finally did it.

The Ranch

Last week we visited John and Magdalena (Max's uncle and aunt). We had not seen them for a couple of months so it was great catching up with them. Mason was really excited to go there, too, especially to see all the animals!

My Boys Are Growing Up!

Mason is now 2 1/2 years old and Archie is 4 months old. They are growing so fast! Mason is now potty trained! No more diapers! There are still a few accidents, but the transition was easier than we had expected. This month Archie got two teeth! He can now roll over from his belly to his back and from his back to his belly. I will put him on the floor and he will roll across the room! Mason and Archie love each other and are really sweet together. Mason will play peek-a-boo with Archie and Archie will just stare with love at him. They are so cute together!

Halloween!

The kids were both sick on Halloween, but we took them out trick-or-treating anyways. Mason was a race car driver (upon his request) and Archie was a cow (because he likes milk). Mason was so excited because we had been preparing him for it for a few weeks. He even learned how to say "trick-or-treat" and said it at a few houses. At every house he wanted to eat the candy that he got. We somehow managed to limit the candy to one piece!
